Notice of Preparation
The City of Brentwood will serve as Lead Agency in the preparation of a programmatic Environmental Impact Report (Program EIR) addressing the comprehensive update to the City's General Plan. This programmatic EIR will address the environmental impacts associated with the adoption and implementation of the 2014 Brentwood General Plan. Public and agency comments will be received over a 30‐day period, ending on March 28, 2014. Please review the Notice of Preparation for additional details regarding the project description, project location, topics to be addressed in the Draft EIR, and directions for the submittal of comments.

The City of Brentwood is circulating the Public Review Draft General Plan and the Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) for the Brentwood General Plan Update. The Draft EIR provides an analysis of the potential environmental impacts associated with implementation of the 2014 Brentwood General Plan. Members of the public and other interested agencies and individuals are invited to provide comments on the 2014 General Plan and Draft EIR. Written comments on the 2014 General Plan and the Draft EIR may be submitted in writing to: Erik Nolthenius, Planning Manager, 150 City Park Way, Brentwood, CA 94513. Final Environmental Impact Report
The Final EIR provides a response to comments received on the Draft EIR and identifies revisions made to the Draft EIR.
Findings of Fact and Statement of Overriding Considerations
The Findings of Fact and Statement of Overriding Considerations explain how the City approached the significant and potentially significant impacts identified in the EIR prepared for the 2014 General Plan Update. The statement of overriding considerations identifies economic, social, technological, and other benefits of the General Plan that override any significant environmental impacts that would result from the General Plan.
